A few tips for the diesel generator when it cannot start as usual

There are many reasons could lead diesel generator fail to start, but most of the reasons are as follows:

1、There is no fuel in the fuel tank and needs to be added；

Solution: Fill the fuel tank.

2、The poor fuel quality, cannot support the operation of the diesel engine;

Solution: Drain the fuel in the fuel tank, replace a new fuel filter element. And fill the

fuel tank with high-quality fuel.

3、The fuel filter is too dirty;

Solution: Replace with a new fuel filter.
4、The fuel line is broken or dirty；

Solution: clean or replace the new fuel line.

6、There is air in the fuel system；
Solution: Find out the leakage point in the fuel system and repair the leaks. Remove the

air in the fuel system by manual pump.
7、The fixed drain valve is open (So the fuel pressure is insufficient to start the engine)；

Solution: Replace the drain valve.

Solution: Check the battery condition, if it is lack of electricity,  please charge the

battery. If necessary, replace the battery.

Solution: The solenoid valve is damaged and needs to be replaced, or check the circuit

system to eliminate the circuit failure.

When generator is starting, if in the 12V starting system, the starting voltage should

not be lower than 10V. The 24V starting system voltage should not be lower than 18V.

If it is lower than the above minimum starting voltage standard, please charge the

battery or replace the battery.
